    • 2015 BMW F26 X4 xDrive28i/xDrive35i spotted testing

Interestingly enough right on the heels of BMW stating they do not plan to produce an X4 M model comes a round of BMW X4 spyphotos of the upcoming 2015 crossover testing. BMW will of course call this a "Sport Activity Coupe" as they do with the X6. All it really means is they give the X3 based vehicle a sloping roof design. The transmission, engines, chassis, interior, will all basically be the same and that is likely why the X4 is testing with its X3 sibling.

The production version will likely make its official debut at a show next year and it will be interesting to see how far it diverges from the X4 Concept design. Expect N20 four cylinder powered xDrive28i and N55 six cylinder powered xDrive35i model choices.
